Management Team

Steven Slawinski – President, CEO

Mr. Slawinski started his career at All American Semiconductor in 1986 where in a short period of time was awarded the Outstanding Sales Performance Award, the first of his many accreditations and awards. After a successful career at All American, Steve and a partner started Components Plus, Inc, out of his parent’s garage in 1992. Within 2 short years, Mr. Slawinski and his partner grew into a huge commercial warehouse facility, growing at an unprecedented rate.

1996 was a banner year for Component Plus, client and sales grew as well as Steve’s reputation as an industry icon. In the same year, Mr. Slawinski bought out his partner and formed IC Plus, Inc. Within 4 short years, under Mr. Slawinski’s management, IC Plus grew to over $10 million in sales and IC Plus has grown at an exponential rate ever since.

In 2011, Mr. Slawinski and IC Plus have grown not only size, but also in stature and service, prompting Mr. Slawinski to purchase one of the largest commercial warehouse buildings in Harbor City, California, (Southern Los Angeles). Steve’s vision continues to expand the business moving into the new facility by summer, 2011 which will include a state of the art (in-house) testing facility, quality assurance and training.

Kevin Steif – Director of Sales

Kevin started at IC PLUS in 2005 and quickly grew to become one of the top sales associates, year after year. Kevin has over 31 years sales experience in the IC /Components industry and is an industry leader in knowing parts, and how to spot quality vs. counterfeit. As well as purchasing, manufacturing, second sourcing material and alternative parts supply. Mr. Steif has a strong background in military fulfillment as well as commercial sales procurement and is well versed (trained) in reading and understanding mechanical and electrical blue prints.

Mr. Steif came to IC Plus, Inc. after successful runs at major franchise distributors such as: ACI ELECTRONICS, FUTURE ELECTRONICS and JAN DEVICES, all as their Regional Sales Manager.

Mr. Steif has also been instrumental in developing sound purchasing and saving strategies at large manufacturing companies such as: Smart Electronics & Assembly, New Bedford Panoramex and the Government Division for Magnavox Research Labs.

Kevin has received number awards over his illustrious career from the Department of Navy and the F.A.A.

Debbie Gefre – Director Operations

Debbie has over 20 years experience in the computer chip industry. She came to IC Plus, Inc. over 15 years ago from Power Up Electronics where she was head of the sales team. She started with IC Plus in 1995 as part of the sales organization. As IC Plus, Inc. quickly expanded, she began to take on more responsibilities on the operational side of the business. She now serves as the Director of Operations, where she oversees and is responsible of the corporation’s financial functions. Working with the management team, she contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices.


  • Improves the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission — specifically, supports better management reporting, information flow and management, business processes and organizational planning.
  • Plays a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
  • Oversees overall financial management, planning, systems and controls.
  • Management of budget in coordination with the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Development of individual program budgets.
  • Invoicing to funding sources, including calculation of completed units of service.
  • Payroll management, including tabulation of accrued employee benefits.
  • Disbursement of checks for organizational expenses.
  • Organization of fiscal documents.
